Ikanji maplestory3/12/2023 ![]() ![]() Meso per meso we get less value per amount spent, compared to Dark Knights, Paladins, Heros, Demon Slayers, and Dawn Warrior, who all either have large sources of multipliers or are set with a higher skill damage %, or both. Due to the way the damage formula works, our active damage scales much slower in comparison to other classes that receive equivalent equipment upgrades. From my experience and hearing from others, Kaisers do not have enough base skill damage % and passives from which to start upgrading. Increased ability to scale with equipment upgrades. Might make it worthwhile if either cast delay is lowered or the duration+cooldown are scaled up to perhaps 60s duration and 180s cooldown. For a buff that is able to be used every 90s, it has a rather long animation and also anchors you for a short while after the animation as well. I would propose either a revamp to make this skill a replacement for Piercing Blaze, or remove it all together and add a support/passive skill.ĭecreased cast delay of Kaiser's Majesty. It also does not fit the configuration of other Kaiser skills of preferring # of lines/sec over skill damage %. It cannot be chained with Piercing Blaze to provide a short burst of mobility, nor does it replace it as a rushing skill due to slow start-up time and that your character's hitbox movement is delayed in relation to the animation. Aesthetics are great, but utility is lackluster. This 4th job skill has one of the longest cast delays in Kaiser's skill set, if not the longest. Replacement of Dragon Barrage with a support or passive skill that provides critical chance % or total damage %. Possible remedy would be to provide an active bonus for mobbing skills, much like Dark Knight's Piercing Drive skill. Sure Kaisers excel in covering small maps with their multiple summons, but they do not hit hard enough to warrant refreshing them every few seconds. Combine that with mobbing attacks that have short horizontal range and anchor your character for the duration of the attack, and we create a less-than enjoyable experience for what is supposed to be the trial period to see if the character is worth leveling past 120. ![]() It's apparent to most people who play Kaisers that we don't scale well with range increase.
